Skills and training needs among staff at internationalisation offices in higher education

Internationalisation in higher education is an increasingly complex and demanding arena which challenges the skills and knowledge of staff involved. However little is known about the staff involved in internationalisation and their skills and training needs. The European Association for International Education (EAIE) asked Ecorys to do a study into this.

With this study Ecorys will deliver insight in the current state of affairs regarding internationalisation in higher education across the European Higher Education Area. At the same time we will conduct a survey into the skills and training needs among staff and practitioners working at internationalisation offices in higher education. The study will be implemented in the first half of 2014.
